Thimbles Quilt and Knit is not primarily an online shop. It could be convenient to buy online, but in the shop there is a much bigger variety of products to choose from. You can touch and feel the yarns and fabrics, it's easier to match colours and there is always someone to assist and advise you. Our customers also enjoy sharing their ideas and experiences with one another and our staff.
If you are not able to visit us, we do offer an opportunity to buy online any of the products shown on this website (which does not represent the full product offering available in the shop). Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need assistance to use the website when ordering.
HOW TO ORDER - QUILTING
- We provide a shopping cart for your QUILTING needs. When you find the fabric or accessory you want, just tell us how much you want and click on the "Add to Cart" button.
- You can order fabrics in quantities of 10cm.
- When you have finished your selection, just click on the shopping cart and proceed to "Checkout".
- You cannot pay online immediately. The moment your order is submitted an email is sent to our shop - we then first have to verify that everything you ordered is actually in stock, and in sufficient quantities. You will receive a provisional order confirmation, subject to stock verification.
- Once we have verified your order, you will receive an email that includes a final order confirmation , our banking details and the amount payable, including shipping. Should a specific fabric not be available, we will suggest a substitute.
- Your order will be dispatched on the next business day, (weekdays only).
- The parcel will be sent to your nearest post office, or we can arrange door-to-door delivery if you so prefer. You can also arrange your own pickup.
HOW TO ORDER - KNITTING
- Our KNITTING section does not contain a shopping cart, but we provide a direct link to SKAPIE where all the yarns and knitting supplies shown on this website can be bought online.
- Just click on the SKAPIE icon which appears in the top right hand corner of all the KNITTING pages.
- Prices on SKAPIE and in our shop are exactly the same.
